Not Legal Advice
Executives and founders in their hardest moments don’t lack information, expertise or capable advisors and colleagues. They lack disinterested advice and a place to think without losing face - a professional consigliere.
A Professional Consigliere?
The thorniest decisions you'll face in your career don't have a single right answer. Everyone around you has an opinion - your lawyers, your bankers, your board, your investors, your colleagues - and a reason to steer you toward theirs. Conflicted advice is still advice, and often it's good advice, but transformative decisions call for someone who can analyze the landscape objectively with you - with no stake in what you decide.
You need room to think out loud without it costing you anything. At the highest levels of your profession, there are few rooms where you can say “I don’t know” without it undermining your credibility - or it being used against you. The more senior you become, the harder it gets for the people around you to speak plainly, because they have their own interests in the conversation, including their own status.
If you're a founder, executive, or senior professional navigating something hard — a transaction, a board dynamic, a leadership crisis, a decision where the stakes are real — and you need a place to problem-solve without risking your reputation, with someone who will think with you and speak candidly, that's the work we’ll do together.
Why me?
Fifteen years in high-stakes M&A, investment transactions and turnarounds — at an elite firm, in-house at a Fortune 100, and at a high-profile, privately-held sports media company. I’ve advised boards, founders and executives across industries from seed stage through global listing, and I’ve sat in service-provider, operator, and builder roles myself. I recognize the patterns and pressures you're facing, and I'll give you candid, direct feedback and a clear path forward.
I hold an MBA from MIT, a graduate degree in forensic psychology, and I know that the higher the stakes, the more everyone around you has an agenda. I don’t.
